About

Welcome to The Makerspace at Black Fire, a resource provided by the UNLV Office of Economic Development. As a collaborative workspace, we provide resources to members of the Las Vegas community, helping bring ideas to life. The Makerspace at Black Fire is accessible to all community members and also features equipment and expertise focused on supporting local start-ups and small businesses.

In The Makerspace, you can construct prototypes, produce marketing materials - banners, flyers, embroidered shirts - and so much more. Makerspace equipment can be accessed on a traditional do-it-yourself basis after introductory training from one of our resident Creators. Our team is also ready to assist you via 1-on-1 consultations to help review and refine your project, or our Creators can be commissioned to complete projects or tasks on your behalf.
