About Us

The UNLV Wellness Zone is UNLV’s holistic, integrated wellness resource for the UNLV campus community. As a part of the Department of Wellness Promotion, we promote healthy behaviors through evidence-based programming with measurable goals, campus-wide events, peer education, and the sharing of relevant health information and resources to encourage lifelong personal wellness through best practices

Our Services

Services provided by UNLV Wellness Zone Wellness Educators include:

  • Harm Reduction Supplies

Personal training and wellness assessments by the Campus Recreation team are also available within the UNLV Wellness Zone.

Our Approach

The programs and services of Student Wellness incorporate the Wellness Wheel, a balanced approach to health & wellness and social determinants of health. The UNLV Wellness Zone encompasses the 8 dimensions of wellness in our programming.

Erica earned her B.S. degree in Health Science with a minor in Business from Fresno State in 2023. During her undergraduate years, she was heavily involved on campus as a student worker, in student involvement, and in internships. Kassidy received her B.S. degree in Health Promotion from Weber State University in 2023. Prior to coming to UNLV, she gained experience working in employee wellness. Her areas of emphasis are emotional wellness and general wellness. She is passionate about health and wellness and wants to use her skills to better the lives of those around her.

Workshop & Presentation Requests

Please note: Staffing for outreach requests is dependent on staff availability, office hours, and programming specifics. While every effort will be made to staff your request, we may not be able to fulfill all outreach requests. Additionally, weekend or evening requests may be more difficult to staff.
